Lump
Lump is 10-40mm in size and it is the natural fraction of iron ore that is produced predominantly from direct shipping ore. When lump is fed into a blast furnace for steel-making, its particle size allows oxygen or air to circulate around the raw materials and melt them efficiently.
FINE
Fine has the granular size of up to 10mm. There are some advantages of using fines, as they can be blended to ensure the desired concentration of iron ore and contaminant materials is entering the blast furnace.
