Iron

Iron

Archaeological evidence suggests that people have been using iron for more than 5,000 years. It is the most abundant of all metals and the fourth most common element in Earth’s crust by weight. Iron is mostly obtained from hematite and magnetite. About 90 percent of all metal that is refined today is iron, most of which is used to make steel.

FTX has a sustained commitment of using advanced technologies that drive forward the safest and most productive methods of extracting, refining and delivering iron from well-located and high grade mines.
